COVID-19 update

Agrovista COVID-19 update

Following the ongoing situation regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus), we continue to follow the advice given by Public Health England (PHE) and the Government.

This means that where possible, Agrovista employees are now working from home, but it is our aim to maintain customer service levels as best as possible.

Depots / collections

At our depots, staff are practicing guidelines outlined by PHE regarding washing hands, maintaining distance from colleagues and other safeguarding measures.

Should you need to make a collection from an Agrovista site or depot, we have implemented a temporary collection protocol, which includes operating a one at a time system.

At our amenity trade counters, we are only serving account holders and professional growers on a ‘click and collect basis’. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate members of the general public.

We kindly ask that you phone ahead to check product availability and to streamline the collection process.

If you are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, please refrain from visiting our sites and depots.

Delivery of products to customers

Our delivery drivers have been informed and equipped accordingly, so to comply with current guidance regarding personal protection measures.

This includes always practicing 2m distancing, meaning drivers won’t ask for documents to be signed.

Additionally, they’ve been supplied with on-board hand washing facilities. They won’t be sharing hand-held or hand-controlled equipment without practicing hygiene regimes, and won’t be using multiple vehicles.

Our drivers endeavor to respect and adhere to local site rules and we encourage all customers to follow the guidance given by PHE.

Agronomists will continue to field walk, provided there is no contact with other members of the public and will liaise with you using other forms of communication.

As our valued customers, the wellbeing of you and your business is of importance to us. Therefore forward plan where possible, to help mitigate potential seasonal supply challenges. There is a possibility that next day delivery can’t be maintained, but we will communicate as soon as this becomes apparent.

All of our customer events have been cancelled or postponed, so please keep an eye on our website for updates, or feel free to e-mail us to confirm:

We know this is a worrying time for our customers, colleagues and their friends and families. Please contact us if you need further guidance.

Yours sincerely,

Chris Clayton
