We have an exciting vacancy for a Depot Assistant to join our friendly depot at Penrith, Cumbria.
Initially this would be a 10 month contract on a fixed term basis, but for the right candidate we would hope to make this role permanent at the end of that 10 month period.
A typical day will involve you inputting orders onto our up to date IT system, ready for them to be picked and delivered to our customers. You may also be helping out in the warehouse and loading and unloading of our vehicles. You will be passionate about customer service and be happy to deal with customer queries face to face.
We need someone who has excellent customer service skills and can work under pressure at times. If you are a team player and have a ‘can do’ attitude, we would like to hear from you.
A background knowledge of agriculture would be a great advantage, along with an understanding that in an agricultural business, flexibility around working hours will be required, including some Saturday working.
