Trainee tree fruit Agronomist - South East based

We are currently looking for a trainee agronomist to work as part of our fruit team focussed on Tree Fruit.

If you are committed to a career in fruit agronomy; thrive on change and innovation; have a thirst for knowledge and are eager to learn; then this could be the role for you.

We are looking for someone with potential to become a successful agronomist and can demonstrate the following;

  • A genuine interest in growing and some experience of fruit growing
  • An enthusiasm for Integrated Pest Management and technical solutions to support agronomy decisions
  • Prove understanding of the commercial drivers within an agri business as well as the technical issues and responsibilities
  • Have excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Have proven experience of working as part of a team and contributing to team success
  • Be educated to degree level
  • Understanding of the need to work long hours during the growing season, and to travel as necessary
