We have a brilliant opportunity for a Credit Control Administrator to join in our Credit Control team, based at Head Office in Nottingham (NG7 2PZ). The role will report directly into the Credit Control Manager.

The role

As the Credit Control Administrator, you will assist in all aspects of administration for the credit management team. Your prime responsibility will be to be the first point of contact for all enquiries received to the accounts receivable shared inbox and incoming calls to the credit control hunt group.

The Credit Control Administrator will be responsible for:

  • Processing customer payments (cheques, bank line transactions and card payments)
  • Managing outlook folders
  • Processing instant invoices
  • Applying rebates to customer accounts
  • Maintaining price agreements
  • Emailing copy requests for statements and invoices
  • Return material authorisations
  • Maintaining customer information
  • Data cleansing
  • Sales analysis
  • Provide samples for audits
  • Refund requests
  • Notifying sales of paid proforma invoices
  • Reconciling - offsetting payments against customer accounts
  • Dealing with customer queries by telephone and email
  • Cover banking of cheques (taking cheques to the bank may be required)
  • Provide assistance and carry out any other tasks as requested by the Credit Control Manager/team

This is a part time role, where the candidate will be expected to work Wednesday afternoons, Thursday and Friday from the office; the core hours in the team are usually 08:30 – 16:15.

This will be a job share, with someone else working the other half of the week. Flexibility will be needed to cover holidays between you, on occasion.

A flexible approach to your working pattern and hours will be essential to meet the seasonality of our business in agriculture.

Training will be provided as necessary to the successful candidate.
