The person
It is essential that the successful candidate has a full clean driving licence and experience of driving 7.5 tonne vehicles, and ideally multi drop experience. An ADR licence and counter-balance licence would be a distinct advantage. Ideally you will have a knowledge of product storage solutions and agrochemical experience, as well as being able to use computer systems effectively. Knowledge of the local area and appropriate routes will also be a distinct advantage. Your customer service skills will be excellent. In addition, great communication skills, a high attention to detail whilst working under pressure and a ‘can-do’ approach are required.
Core hours are usually 8am to 5pm. However as with any agricultural business we are dictated by the weather, therefore during our high seasons you will be required to be flexible with the seasonality of our business, which means during our busy period you could be required to work more than the core hours but this would be balanced with working less hours during our quieter season.
Training will be provided as necessary to the successful candidate.
