Agrovista launched a new data manager at Cereals designed to draw together the vast amounts of digital information created on farms, enabling users to manage and map their data simply and quickly.
“MapIT Pro software will allow many pieces of the Precision Farming jigsaw fall into place, said Agrovista head of technology, Lewis McKerrow. “Unlike many current market leading software packages for precision farming it is entirely web based which will give growers access from anywhere at anytime provided they have an internet connection.
“Much effort has gone into designing MAPIT Pro’s user interface so it will appeal to a generation who are used to think like drag and drop bars. Users will be able to drag and drop files from a computer hard drive or memory stick straight onto the import tool in MapIT Pro. The only thing they need to do is choose which part of the data they wish to import.
