The 2016 Farm Business charity sailing regatta was held in the Solent on 22nd June. The pre-regatta BBQ, held at the RAF club in Hamble Village, raised nearly £600 for the Demelza House children’s hospice charity.
The sailing day started in drizzle with very poor visibility butt the sun performed and came out for the racing. Honours went to the Agrovista crew, led by Nick Rainsley on board soiree, who won for the second time and won three of four races. They had to work to take top honours and were chased hard by the Yara crew, led by John Keyte on board Modernistic Lady, who won the fourth race and came second overall.
