The Agrovista stewardship herbal ley is designed to deliver all the soil health benefits that these leys are capable of but is not as productive in livestock terms as the TechniSward herbal leys and so is principally aimed at arable rotations.
The short term cut and graze mixture is capable of three years full production and could be aimed at livestock farmers looking for a cheaper rotational mixture without compromising on forage yield and quality or at arable farmers looking for a simpler mixture with more rapid establishment.
