The Agrovista stewardship herbal ley is designed to deliver all the soil health benefits that these leys are capable of but is not as productive in livestock terms as the TechniSward herbal leys and so is principally aimed at arable rotations.
The short term cut and graze mixture is capable of three years full production andcould be aimed at livestock farmers looking for a cheaper rotational mixture without compromising on forage quality or at arable farmers looking for a simpler mixture with more rapid establishment.

The seed mixtures have been designed to be compatible with a range of actions within the Countryside Stewardship Scheme (CSS) and the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI). However, these mixtures are no guarantee of compliance and should therefore be grown and managed in a way that can be reasonably expected to meet the aims of the action.
